Green tetradon refers to poisonous fish that cannot be fed from hands and touched. An interesting feature of this species is that the fish can inflate. Fish features

4. When family members feel danger, they inflate, sharp needles appear in the peritoneum. Thanks to this feature, the tetradon protects itself from other predatory inhabitants.
5. Since constant stress leads to a deterioration in the health status of pets, you can not scare them specifically to satisfy their curiosity. Otherwise, the fish may die from frequent attacks. Tetradons are so sensitive that they can inflate because of the host passing near the aquarium.

Description and temperament

1. The format of the body of the fish is elongated, resembling a pear. The body flows smoothly into a sufficiently large head, which is half the size of its size.
2. The skin is dense, there are sharp spikes. If the fish is in a calm state, the skin is tight. But when the tetradon freaks out, it inflates.
3. The eyes are large, round, mostly black. They rotate in a circle, so the fish do not have to move to observe the situation. This helps tetradons hunt and defend themselves without moving their bodies.
4. The fins are transparent, can be greenish or reddish, slightly shiny. There are no clear signs of what gender the individual is in front of you. It is difficult to determine whether it is male or female. The only thing that can be said for sure is that females are more rounded and elongated.
5. Many aquarists fell in love with fish for their intelligence and intellectual abilities. They quickly become attached to the owner, remember the person feeding them. 2. As for the feeding process, then everything is extremely simple. Fish eat excellent dry cereal food, live and fresh-frozen food, crab meat, snails, bloodworms, brine shrimp, and shrimp. Adult tetradons prefer fish fillet and squid meat.
