Growing recommendations

Growing Tomatoes Premier
Harvesting seedlings is carried out 60-65 days before it is transferred to the garden or greenhouse. Seeds are sown in peat soil. You can buy it in special stores, or cook at home, mixing the soil with sand and peat.

Plant seeds should be in loose and moist soil. Seeds need to be laid out in holes two centimeters deep and sprinkled on top of the soil. Tamping the soil is not required. The container with seeds should be covered with a film and placed in a warm room. After the first sprouts appear, the film must be removed and the containers placed in a lighter place. Watering seedlings is carried out using a spray gun to avoid soil damage and exposure of roots.

When two true leaflets form on seedlings, it should be dived into separate containers.Experienced gardeners use peat cups for these purposes, since when planting in a permanent place they will not need to get seedlings from them - they can be planted in the ground together with pots.

Seedlings are transferred to the garden when the last spring frosts recede. The plant is undemanding to the soil, however, before planting it should be treated with nitrogen, superphosphate or humus to enrich the soil.

Plant care is simple. Only regular watering, weeding and loosening of beds is required. You need to remember about fertilizing and spraying from pests for prevention.

Advantages and disadvantages of the variety

Of the positive qualities of the Premier variety, the following should be distinguished:

  • a large number of crops;
  • great taste;
  • resistance to the main diseases of tomatoes;
  • unpretentiousness to weather;
  • easy care.

Of the shortcomings, gardeners distinguish a short shelf life, as well as the fact that the fruits cannot be transported over long distances.

As evidenced by numerous reviews of the variety Premier, the number of advantages it has is much higher than the minuses. This means that the hybrid variety definitely deserves the attention of garden owners.
