Be extremely careful if you want to clean your cashmere coat yourself. Be sure to read the manufacturer's recommendations, which are usually written on the label. If machine or hand wash is allowed, it must be done in water, the temperature of which does not exceed 30 degrees. It is also worth putting the machine on delicate mode and removing the spin function.

To remove individual spots, hang a dirty coat on your shoulders and use special tools. If they are not at hand, then try proven home methods.

  1. Traces of coffee, tea and food. They are removed using vinegar or ammonia diluted with glycerol in 1: 1 proportions. Then the spots are wiped with a soap solution.
  2. Greasy spots. Gasoline will come to the rescue, and if cashmere is light, then talc. Treat the coat with gasoline from the wrong side, placing it under face paper or fabric. Wipe the stain with a cotton pad dipped in gasoline until it disappears. You can just sprinkle with talcum powder and brush it after a few hours.
  3. Fresh pollution. If you just planted a stain on your coat, sprinkle it with salt and leave it until it is absorbed. Then brush with a cloth and wipe with soap and water if necessary.

In the event that your coat has dried dirt and old spots, it is better to take the product to dry cleaning, where it will be gently cleaned with professional means.

Draped coat

Drap products are more practical than cashmere ones, so you can safely clean them at home. For the standard procedure for removing dust and dirt accumulated on the villi, you need a sponge and warm water. Hang the product on its shoulders and wipe it until it is clean. Then wait for the coat to dry and put it on. To make clothes from the drape last longer and get dirty less, it is recommended to process it with products for suede products.

Synthetic coat

  • observe the temperature regime of water. Usually it is not more than 30 degrees;
  • do not wash your coat with other things;

  • wring the product at minimum speed;
  • Dry the coat on a horizontal surface, properly straightening the fabric.
