Hydrogen peroxide
The composition has an excellent whitening effect. Get a solution of hydrogen peroxide or Chlorhexidine from the pharmacy. The concentration of both drugs should not exceed the mark of 6%. Wash the sole with hot water, wipe dry, then moisten a cosmetic swab with peroxide / Chlorhexidine. The cotton pad should be so wet that liquid flows down it. Wipe the sole several times, wait 10-15 minutes. After the time has passed, wipe the surface with a damp cloth to collect any residual dirt.
Dishwashing liquid
If the sole is dirty from dust, it can be cleaned with a thick dishwashing gel. Apply a large amount of the composition to the lower rim of the shoe, foam with your hands or a sponge. Take a hard toothbrush, begin to intensively process the surface. After the product has a characteristic gray shade, rinse. Repeat the procedure if necessary.
Professional bleach
The sole can be cleaned with acid bleach or stain remover. The most effective of them are considered “Vanish”, “Sarma”, “Eared nanny”, “Boss”. An important feature is considered to be that for processing sneakers you need to prepare a solution whose concentration is 2-2.5 times higher than normal.That is, if on the back of the bottle the manufacturer recommends diluting the composition with water as 1: 5, you should prepare a 1: 2 solution.
Regarding the treatment itself: mix bleach / stain remover with water in the required quantities, then pour the composition into a basin. Put your sneakers in a tank so that only the sole is covered. Cover the bowl with cling film, wait 45-60 minutes. After the expiration of the period, rub the treated surface with a toothbrush, rinse off excess composition.
Soda and Tooth Powder
Treat the sole with a bar of laundry soap, rub with a brush, rinse. Mix the tooth whitening powder and soda in equal amounts, dilute the mixture with water to make a pasty mass. Distribute the composition on the surface of the sole, cover with a cling film or plastic bag on top. Leave the mixture to soak the material for 40 minutes, at the end of this time, rub it with a brush and remove with water. If you are not impressed with the result, soak a cosmetic swab in turpentine, remove stains and dirt “under the finish”.
Boric acid
Pour 3 gallons of boiling water over 100 g. chopped table salt, stir, wait until the granules dissolve. When the composition becomes homogeneous, cool it to room temperature, pour 160 ml. boric acid solution (alcoholic infusion). Wear a face mask, gloves, goggles, and clean in a well-ventilated area. Soak a white cloth in the composition, gently rub. Wipe off excess with a dry cloth.
If you don’t have time to do mechanical cleaning, pour a little prepared solution into a wide container. Put your sneakers in there so that the sole is completely covered. Wait a quarter of an hour, after the expiration date, remove the shoes and wipe them with a clean cloth.

Treat the contaminated area, wait 10-15 minutes and rinse with water. In the latter case, the effectiveness of the composition is reduced by 20-25%, for this reason it is better to prepare a solution based on citric acid.
