Obabok Far Eastern

Description

Obabok is one of the names for boletus, aspen, and redheads. The fungus belongs to the family of boletus, grows (as the name implies) in the forests of the Far East.

A hat of a mature mushroom of a hemispherical shape, can grow up to 25 centimeters. In just born mushrooms, it resembles a ball, slightly wrinkled, with the edges pressed to the leg. In more mature fungi, the remains of the bedspread are visible. The skin color is brown-buffy. In the lower part, the surface is tubular with a bright yellow hue, darkens over time and becomes olive yellow. In the place where the hat connects to the leg, the tubes are slightly dented.

When the weather is dry, the peel slightly crackes, exposing the whitish flesh. The cylinder-shaped leg, somewhat curved, thickens toward the bottom, full, without voids, strong, high, can reach 13-14 centimeters in height and 2.5-3 centimeters in thickness. Dark at the bottom, gradually brightens towards the top. The surface is covered with small scales of brownish color, consisting of hyphal beams. The color is the same as the hat - the color of ocher, only a little lighter.

The mushroom pulp becomes less dense during ripening; voids appear with age. It has a dirty white hue at the cut, then it turns pink over time or acquires a dark blue color up to black.

Spindle-shaped spores, pale brown. Over time, the spore layer slowly protrudes from under the cap.
